‘Tis the season to be jolly

It’s Jingle bells time again. I’ve always considered myself a Christmas-loving person but this year people have been way ahead of me in getting into the festive mood. Some snowflakes probably would have turned the tables for me but it’s been raining cats and dogs and all kinds of little animals lately.

Beautiful frosty captures of snowmen with their carrot noses being just a dream I’ve instead dived into my photo collections. As the year is coming to an end it’s been great fun to build a photo book of the year. My mind’s been in the lovely swimming trips and warm nights of the past summer. No wonder I haven’t heard too many sleigh bells ringing!

But, – inspired by a friendly neighbour who invited us in for some Christmas tea and songs about Santa Claus coming to town, I felt like giving it a try. A nice mulled wine tasting (glögi to us Finns) at our favourite organic food store on Saturday tickled my Christmas spirit. And now, with a stomach full of delicious rice porridge and candlelight showering the room, I feel like I’m catching up with you folks 🙂 So, snow or no snow, bring on the festivities!
